e-Safety - Omegle App

Please find attached an information sheet about the app 'Omegle'. Omegle is a free online chat site that lets users speak with others without any the need to register. It randomly pairs users in one-on-one chat sessions where they chat anonymously. Omegle has been the subject to a variety of e-safety concerns including discrimination, pornography and exploitation of children.

Omegle is available in the app stores and through web browsers. We have had a recent e-Safety issue which has highlighted the need for parents to carefully monitor which apps their children use on their devices.
