Water Bottle / Hot Weather Reminder

Dear Parents

Firstly, please could we remind you about expectations regarding children's water bottles, as we had an incident yesterday in school where a glass bottle was brought in and unfortunately got smashed.

Water bottles should made of plastic and have a 'sports top', so that they do not spill on work if they accidentally get knocked over in the classroom. We sell bottles which fit this criteria for 60p at the school office.

With this lovely hot weather, it really is essential that all children have a water bottle in school with them every day. It is also advisable for them to bring a hat to wear at break and lunchtimes and for sun cream to be applied each morning before school.
